Online counselling sessions are held either via video conferencing or telephone and are a very convenient way of undergoing counselling wherever you are geographically. We will discuss how to ensure that you can maintain a safe and confidential space during sessions. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration.
No, they do not. Sessions can be held as an individual or as a duo. If it is together, you can each be online from the comfort of your own homes. Online coaching is a highly effective and convenient way of undergoing sessions. The goal is to help you build better boundaries and regain greater wellbeing and power in your relationships across the generations.
Yes, they are different. Mother and daughter coaching is completely focused on your mother and daughter or mother-in-law and daughter-in-law issues using specific tools, so it is more goal-oriented. Like other coaching sessions, it requires more interaction on your part to get the results you want.
Each session lasts 55 minutes as an individual or 75 minutes as a duo. Sessions are normally book in a block of six in advance.
Yes and I encourage men to come forward to seek counselling. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but undergoing therapy provides invaluable support you may need to overcome the issues or struggles you face.
I will contact you to schedule an initial FREE telephone consultation, where we will discuss what issues you are experiencing and your goals for counselling or mother and daughter coaching. I will talk you through the relevant process and my approach. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask me any questions and raise any concerns you may have. If you would like us to work together, we can then book your first in-depth online session. The standard procedure is to book the same day and time consecutively weekly.
Please pay in full 48-hours before your session begins. Fees are usually paid via bank transfer.
For cancellations, please let me know 48-hours in advance if you cannot make your appointment, otherwise you will be charged in full.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within their ethical framework. Confidentiality underpins everything we discuss during our sessions. There are only a few exceptions to this where I am obliged to break confidentiality. These include if you disclose involvement in or knowledge of any criminal activities or if there is a safeguarding issue if you or any adult related to you or your child could potentially be under threat of harm or abuse.
