I’m Nisha Ladak, an Integrative Counsellor, a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and a certified Mother and Daughter Coach.
Counselling is not about giving advice and fixing problems, it focuses on exploring and understanding personal issues, emotions, feelings and working through difficult and traumatic situations or past experiences.
Mother and Daughter Coaching is a specialised form of coaching which focuses on improving the relationship and communication between Mothers and Daughters or Mothers-in law and Daughters-in law. It centres around understanding each other’s perspectives, resolving past and present conflicts and strengthening their bond.

I work with adults over 18 years across a broad range of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement and loss, emotional and physical abuse and cultural/multicultural family conflicts as well as other areas. As a mother and daughter coach I help mothers and daughters or mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law as individuals or together to create stronger, more emotionally bonded relationships where they can be heard and understood.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
